Some might say that you should start with the account with the highest interest rate and pay that one first and there is nothing wrong with that plan. The reason for paying the lowest first is you feel accomplishment sooner and it will keep you motivated to keep moving forward.
Pay minimum payments on all your accounts and pay as much as you can towards the account you have selected to eliminate first. Target a second account once the first one has been repaid and follow the same process. Since you have already paid off one of your accounts, this should give you more to pay towards you next account. Your stress level wil decrease right along with your debt.
